Real Madrid move closer to extending Vinicius Junior's contract

 


The Spanish side hoped to convince Vinicius to sign a contract that runs until 2028 but had to settle for a shorter extension.

Real leadership is very close to reaching an agreement with the 21-year-old player on a new contract, GOAL confirmed.

The winger still has two years left on his current contract bongda3s, but the La Liga champions hope to convince him to commit to a longer stay.

The Brazilian star played a key role in helping Madrid win La Liga and the Champions League in the 2021/2022 season, scoring 22 goals and providing 16 assists in 52 games in all competitions.

Vinicius Junior's New Deal

The two sides have reached an agreement on the contract extension for the Brazilian player.

Sources have revealed to GOAL that the deal is 95% complete bongda3s, with only minor terms remaining to be worked out.

Madrid had originally hoped to sign Vinicius until 2028, but had to negotiate a shorter commitment as the player desired.

Vinicius is currently on vacation in the US, but when he returns he will meet with president Florentino Perez to sign a new deal.
